Historic Kirtland represents one of the hallmark locations from the early days of the Lord’s Church and its Restoration. Journey to the sacred site of the Kirtland Temple, the very first temple erected in the latter days where the risen Lord Himself appeared to the Prophet Joseph and there heavenly messengers including Moses and Elijah personally restored essential keys of priesthood authority. Along the way, experience other significant landmarks from Church history including the Newel K. Whitney Store and the Joseph and Emma Smith Home.
Cedar Point is rightly dubbed America’s Roller Coast and it hasn’t garnered this worldwide acclaim for nothing. It houses arguably the finest collection of roller coasters of any theme park in the world, bar none, with legendary rides such as Millennium Force and Steel Vengeance. And if you are not up for roller coasters, we have got you covered there too. Cedar Point offers amusements galore suitable for all including a steam locomotive, live music and shows, an adjacent water park, arcade and carnival games, and a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Erie, one of the five Great Lakes.
We aren't a travel agency that has a profit margin or bottom line nor are we scholars trying to sell you on our upcoming book releases or paid seminars. No, we are YSAs just like yourself who simply noticed a niche and a need for a YSA meetup in the region. We are stepping up to the plate to provide YSAs with a grand-scale event that is sure to be a hit for many years to come.
We recognize the essential role of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ in the timeline of our Heavenly Father's plan for the ultimate happiness of His children now and into the eternities. With this perspective in mind, we approach this YSA event with the firm conviction that virtuous Christlike living is foundational for inviting and maintaining the presence of the Holy Ghost. We kindly ask that all attendees hold to those standards of conduct compatible with the For the Strength of Youth pamphlet and Church Educational System's Honor Code.
That's right! We are non-commissioned and unpaid. We are assembling the spots and the schedule, nothing more, nothing less. This means the accommodations and ticket packages we recommend in the itineraries in Kirtland and Cedar Point have no affiliate codes and zero kickbacks for us as the organizers. The accommodations and ticket options we have provided as a public service to attendees. They are shared as recommendations as some possible ways of joining the group throughout the event schedule. We are organizing the time and the place for a truly unforgettable meetup for YSAs!
